3rd Suspect Arrested In Murder Of Pizza Delivery Man
Dervy Almonte-Moore, 27, was shot and killed while making a delivery in Clifton July 15.

A third suspect, a 16-year-old, has been arrested in the murder case of a Bergen County pizza delivery man who was shot and killed in Clifton July 15, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes
The juvenile was arrested and charged Wednesday with delinquency for committing acts, which if committed by an adult, would be the same offenses Andy DeJesus and Joel Nunez, both 18, Valdes said.
DeJesus and Nunez were each charged with first-degree murder, felony murder, and robbery; and second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery and various weapons charges in the death of Devry Almonte-Moore

The teenager was allegedly with DeJesus and Nunez when Almonte-Moore was shot and killed. The teenager was identified in an affidavit of probable cause only by their initials, "E.L," according to a NorthJersey.com report.
Almonte-Moore was making a delivery for Jumbo's Pizza at about 2:17 a.m. on Paulison Avenue in Clifton when he was approached by several people, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes previously said. One of the people had a handgun. Almonte-Moore tried to drive away, but he was shot.

A teenage witness told police she heard two people arguing outside of her window, according to a report on NorthJersey.com report. She then heard a "pop" and saw a vehicle “driving erratically” before it crashed, according to the report, which cited the affidavit.
Almonte-Moore was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson.
The homicide is connected to a robbery on Oak Street in Passaic that occurred earlier that morning, authorities said.
Two victims were in a vehicle at about 2 a.m. when a man walked up to them, brandished a handgun, and tapped on the passenger side window, Valdes said. The driver sped away from the man and a short time later, Almonte-Moore was shot and killed.
Authorities continue to investigate Almonte-Moore's murder. Valdes asks anyone with additional information about what happened to call her office's tips line at 1-877-370-7276 or email tips@passaiccountynj.org.
