4 Charged After Heroin Deal In Wayne Mobile Home Park: Police
Multiple people complained to police about drug distribution from a unit in the area, according to authorities.
WAYNE, NJ — Four people were charged Wednesday after Wayne police say they witnessed a heroin deal at Finn's Mobile Home Park. Multiple people complained to law enforcement about drug distribution from a unit in the area, according to authorities.
During the investigation, Wayne police spent several hours surveilling the location and suspects. On Wednesday, they witnessed Travis Evans and Savannah Lee Sommer distribute drugs, said Police Chief Jack McNiff.
The officers stopped the suspects and found they had heroin, police said. Then police searched their home and discovered more heroin, along with Xanax, according to McNiff.

Evans and Sommer were each charged with possession of prescription legend drugs, drug distribution (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute (heroin and Xanax) and two counts of drug possession (heroin and Xanax). Sommer was also charged with distributing heroin within 500 feet of a public park.
William Vanginneken and Elvis Romero were each charged with drug possession. All four live in Wayne and were released on summonses.
