4 Charged With Shoplifting From Willowbrook Mall Stores: Wayne PD
Police found more than $5,000 worth of items stolen from stores including Express, GAP, H&M, and Zara during a traffic stop, said officials.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Police charged four New York residents after finding more than $5,000 in stolen merchandise from various Willowbrook Mall retailers during a traffic stop, said a department official.
A Wayne officer stopped a black Jeep Liberty with Connecticut license plates on July 18 at 9:20 p.m. at Valley Road and Mac Donald Drive, said Detective Captain Dan Daly. The vehicle registration on the Jeep was false and actually matched a BMW 745i, Daly added.
Additional officers responded to the investigation, and found more than $5,000 of stolen merchandise with security tags from stores in Willowbrook Mall, Daly said. The stores police listed are Express, Forever 21, GAP, H&M, Hollister, Old Navy, Pacsun, and Zara.

Police arrested and charged the four people in the Jeep with receiving stolen property and with possession of an anti-shoplifting device countermeasure, said Daly.
Officials charged Renea Beckford (33) and Kevon O. Williams (30) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Norris Livingston (36) of the Bronx, N.Y.; and Raymar Andrade of Mount Vernon, N.Y. according to Daly's report.

The accused people were released according with bail reform guidelines after being charged on complaint summonses, Daly added.
