Novartis Global Market Research is pleased to make a personnel announcement that strengthens consumer and healthcare professional insight and provides a cross Novartis Division career development opportunity for a talented Novartis Associate.
Barbara Sudovar is appointed Associate Director, Market Research for the CCR Category responsible for insight generation and validation for all Cough Cold Respiratory category initiatives globally. Barbara will report to Fred Walker and join Cris Burson-Thomas's CCR category team as a key team member.

Prior to joining Novartis OTC, Barbara was the Market Research Head for Novartis Vaccines based in Cambridge, MA. Barbara held this position for over 2 years, making significant marketing and business strategy contributions to each of the Vaccine Global Teams.
Barbara designed and implemented Market Research in the Vaccine areas of influenza, Meningitis, Travel and Early Stage Development. We expect Barbara's Flu experience to be especially useful to the CCR Category by providing great insights and cross Novartis Division expertise and contacts.

Prior to joining Novartis in 2009, Barbara held various leadership positions in Market Research and Business Strategy across the healthcare industry at Eisai, Savient, Pfizer, Organon, Roche, and Cegedim Dendrite, in addition to owning her own healthcare Consulting Business.
Barbara earned an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Masters Degree and a Bachelors Degree in Political and Social Sciences from William Paterson University in NJ.
