1 Dead In Fatal 4-Vehicle Rt. 46 Crash: Prosecutor

A fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles has closed Route 46 East in Little Falls.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said the driver of a silver van was pronounced dead at the scene Valdes said.

The investigation is ongoing, Valdes said. More information will be released once it becomes available, she said.

All lanes are closed and traffic is being detoured onto Browertown Road, 511nj.org, the state's emergency traffic notification system reported.

Motorists should expect significant delays in the area and allow for extra time when traveling through the area.
