Kevin Olsen Faces 30 Years In Prison On Rape Charges, Report Says
BREAKING: The former Wayne Hills quarterback is accused of punching and raping a 23-year-old he was dating. Olsen denies the allegations.

WAYNE, N.J. — Kevin Olsen faces 30 years in prison if convicted on the three counts of felony forcible rape he has been charged with involving a 23-year-old woman he was dating.
Prosecutors previously said Olsen, a former star quarterback at Wayne Hills High School, threatened to kill himself and the woman when they went out together Saturday night, The Charlotte Observer reported.
Olsen's attorney George Laughrun said his client denies 99 percent "of what was read in court," before Olsen posted $103,000 bond Monday on three counts of felony forcible rape, the report said. Olsen was also charged with forcible fondling, assault and intimidation. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison on each rape charge.

Olsen, 22, and the woman went out for drinks and got separated, which is when Olsen sent her a text message threatening to kill her, the Observer reported.

Once back at Olsen's apartment, Olsen allegedly took a phone charger,threatened to kill himself, argued with the woman, punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her three times, the report said.
Olsen is the former quarterback at Miami University and the younger brother of Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and enrolled in UNC Charlotte, his third college.
Olsen was dismissed from the University of Miami after a DUI arrest and violating team rules. He was later dismissed from Towson University in Maryland for violating team rules.
Olsen, a four-star recruit in high school, played for his father Chris while at Wayne Hills and won state group championships his sophomore and junior year. He missed most of his senior year with a broken foot.
Olsen was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after he smashed his car into two vehicles and a tree in Wayne in 2013. A police report on the incident stated that Olsen “appeared to be under the influence of something.”
