Shake Shack Coming To Wayne This Year: Reports

The popular fast food company already has 2 North Jersey locations. It is one of several new restaurants coming to Wayne this year.

WAYNE, NJ — Shake Shack, the popular fast food restaurant chain, is coming to the township this year, according to two reports.

Two websites, NorthJersey.com and BoozyBurbs.com, which covers the North Jersey food scene, reported the opening. A Shake Shack spokesperson did not respond to multiple inquiries for comment Tuesday.

Shake Shack mostly sells burgers, fries, hot dogs and milkshakes. The company says its burgers are all-natural, 100-percent Angus beef made without hormones or antibiotics.

The restaurant is one of several businesses slated to open in Wayne this year, or one that has opened recently:

Also, Dave & Buster's is expected to open only its second New Jersey location Feb. 19. The entertainment and dining establishment is being constructed on the second floor of the Sears store at the Willowbrook Mall. And Cinemark will open a 12-screen movie theater at the old Sears Auto Center at the Willowbrook Mall.
