Wayne Girl's Investigating Leads To Package Theft Arrests: Report

WAYNE, NJ — Sydney Monello spotted three men outside of her home on Wednesday. She knew they did not belong there and sprung into action.

Monello called her parents at work when she saw a black Honda Civic and the men near her driveway at about 12:30 p.m., News12 New Jersey reported. She continued to watch them and sent her dog out to scare them away, according to the report.

The men were waiting for a package to be delivered to the Harmony Lane home of the person whose credit card information they stole, police previously said.

The men were watching their phones to make sure the items they ordered were delivered to the house, police previously said.

Police tracked the car and later arrested Thafoux Felix, Taliek Jones and Devellis Benjamin after they found two stolen packages inside their vehicle.

The men were charged with receiving stolen property and credit card fraud.
