Wayne Man Killed In Crash Saturday
The 59-year-old man was killed Saturday in a early-morning crash on River Road in Piscataway, authorities said.
WAYNE, NJ — A township man was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on crash early Saturday morning in Piscataway, authorities announced.
Steve Kemmlein, 59, died when his pickup truck was hit by a car driven by Darrius Griffin Jr., 25, of Piscataway, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said in a news release.
Kimmlein was pronounced dead at the scene following the 4:25 a.m. crash, Carey said.

A preliminary investigation determined that Griffin was driving on River Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed his 2016 Nissan Altima into Kimmlein's 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck, Carey said.
The other driver and a passenger were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick, Carey said.
