Wayne Named Best Passaic County Town For Families
New Jersey Family, a resource for New Jersey parents, has announced New Jersey's "Best Towns for Families 2017."
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne has been named the best place for families to live in Passaic County.
New Jersey Family, a resource for New Jersey parents, released its list of "Best Towns for Families 2017," an annual ranking of the Garden State's 511 municipalities. Wayne was ranked 116th in the state. Hawthorne is the next highest ranked Passaic County town at No. 158.
Clinton in Hunterdon County tops this year's list. Asbury Park is at the bottom.

“This year, we reworked our algorithm to take a deeper dive into high school performance while also weighing things like safety, how affordable a town is, average commute time and more criteria that matters to families,” said Cindy Mironovich, New Jersey Family’s publisher and founder.
