Lisa Emeric is using her new pink fire truck to bring joy Bergen and Passaic county special needs kids.
WAYNE, NJ - One township woman is taking kids’ love of ice cream and using it to help them and their families.
Lisa Emeric has created a new business, Sweet Ice Queen, LLC, complete with a vintage ice truck. Emeric not only serves ice cream, but can serve an entire candy buffet and other kid- and family-friendly meals, snacks, and deserts as well.
Emeric wants to use her truck to brighten the lives of special needs children or those battling a serious illness in Bergen and Passaic counties. She plans on taking her truck and surprising those residents who need cheering up and some encouragement.

“I have been very blessed to be able to start this business, and it’s important to me to give back to the community,” Emeric said. “If a visit from the Sweet Ice Queen Truck can brighten the day of a child who is suffering or struggling, that is what will truly make this new venture a success.”
Deena Leider of Elmwood Park had Emeric stop by an event for her family. Her son Jason suffers from Hunter syndrome, a neurological disorder.
