• Toll of Commuting: A hands-on look at where the Hudson Tunnel Project stands (news12.com) — Major Hudson Tunnel construction is underway right in Weehawken, where work continues behind a 25-foot sound wall and a new Community Engagement Center lets residents see what's happening. The project will eventually double rail capacity between New Jersey and Manhattan, with tunnel boring starting in 2026 and the new tunnel expected to open in 2035 before the existing one is fully rehabbed.
