• Former UNC basketball standouts set to join forces on the sidelines at Monmouth (keepingitheel.com) — Monmouth University in West Long Branch is adding former UNC star Shammond Williams as an assistant coach under head men's basketball coach King Rice. Williams brings more than two decades of pro playing experience and extensive college coaching stops, and will help guide the Hawks starting with the 2026–27 season, giving local fans another strong Tar Heel connection on their hometown sidelines.
