• 78-year-old West Milford man charged in alleged sexual assault of 5-year-old (news12.com) — West Milford residents are being alerted that a 78-year-old local man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old child at his apartment, following an investigation by township police and county prosecutors. Authorities say he was arrested near Lincoln Avenue and Marshall Hill Road, remain seeking additional information from the public, and have requested he be detained before trial.
