7 Injured In Serious West Windsor Crash: Police
Two people were seriously inured and two children were injured in Friday night's crash, police said.
WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A total of seven people were injured in a serious accident on a wet and slippery Cranbury Road near Perry Drive in West Windsor Friday night, police announced. Two adults were seriously injured, and two children were injured in the crash, police said.
A 68-year-old West Windsor woman suffered a critical head injury in the accident, which occurred when a 2007 Chevrolet Impala collided head-on with a 2012 Honda Odyssey, West Windsor police said Saturday afternoon. She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, police said.
A 36-year-old West Windsor woman suffered serious leg trauma in the accident, and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick for treatment, police said.

They both became trapped in the Odyssey, which was traveling south on Cranbury Road when the Impala drifted from the northbound lane into the southbound lane and collided with the Odyssey head-on, police said. It was raining and the road was wet at the time of the crash, according to police.
They were rescued by members of the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #1 (WWVFC#1) Station #43 before being taken to their respective hospitals, police said.

An 8-year-old boy and a 4-year-old boy who were also passengers in the Odyssey suffered cuts to their face, police said. They were taken Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Odyssey, a 40-year-old West Windsor man, was taken to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center to be treated for a wrist injury;
A 70-year-old West Windsor man who was a passenger in the Odyssey was taken to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center to be treated for chest pain.
A 45-year-old Plainsboro woman who was driving the Impala suffered back and neck pain, but declined to be treated on the scene, police said.
