Celebrate Navratri with Us: Durga Puja and Garba October 12th/13th

The vibrant South Asian community of West Windsor and Plainsboro invites you to join in the joyous celebration of Navratri and Durga Puja on October 12th and 13th at Millstone River School. This auspicious festival, which honors the triumph of good over evil, is a time for unity, reflection, and celebration.

From 11 AM to 10 PM each day, attendees can immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of cultural activities and traditional festivities. With an expected attendance of over 250 people from our local communities and neighboring towns, this event promises to be a vibrant gathering full of energy and joy.
Highlights of the event will include:

• Garba Dancing: Join in the spirited traditional dance that is central to Navratri celebrations. All ages are welcome to participate, whether you are an experienced dancer or trying it for the first time.
• Children’s Ethnic Wear Competition: Encourage our young ones to showcase their cultural heritage by participating in this fun competition. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to express themselves and learn about their traditions.
• Art Activities: Engage in creative painting sessions, where attendees of all ages can explore their artistic side while celebrating the festive spirit.
