3 Children Injured In School Bus Accident In West Windsor: Cops
Three children, ages 9, 11 and 17, were injured when the car they were in collided with a school bus in West Windsor on Monday, police said.
WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 9-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 17-year-old were all injured in a serious crash involving a school bus in the area of New Village Road and Village Road near St. David's Church in West Windsor Township Monday afternoon, police said.
A 54-year-old Trenton woman was driving a 2019 yellow school bus south on Village Road when she stopped at the intersection of Village Road to make a left turn at about 3 p.m. Monday afternoon, according to West Windsor police.
As she was making the turn, the school bus entered into the direct path of a 2005 Dodge Neon, being driven south on New Village Road by a 17-year-old East Windsor girl and the vehicles collided, police said.

A 9-year-old girl in the Dodge suffered a head laceration, and the driver injured her wrist, police said. An 11-year-old girl in the same car complained of back pain. They were all taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center (Trauma).
There were no injuries reported to any of the people on the school bus, police said. No one involved in the accident was identified by police on Monday. The road was closed for about 45 minutes.
