West Windsor Township will host a Special 25th-Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 6:30 PM, to honor the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks. The Ceremony will take place at Twin Ponds 9/11 Memorial in the Ronald R. Rogers Arboretum, located at the intersection of Clarksville Road and Route 571. Join us for a special ceremony featuring the rededication of West Windsor’s Twin Ponds 9/11 Memorial and the debut of a new addition to the site, funded by American Legion Princeton Post 76. The ceremony will also feature a tribute of 2,983 flags planted in honor of every individual life lost. The flags will be planted with help from WW-P High School South Students. Originally dedicated on April 27, 2002, Twin Ponds holds historical significance as the very first permanent September 11th Memorial built in the State of New Jersey. The Twin Ponds Memorial's origins trace back to a swift community-led effort immediately following the tragedy, including Friends of West Windsor Open Space. Designed as a sanctuary for quiet contemplation, the site features twin-connected reflecting pools, a handmade bridge, and a waterfall. A World Trade Center steel beam recovered from “Ground Zero” was added in 2011.

The Bailey Basketball Academy(BBA)&nbsp;announced&nbsp;today the&nbsp;fall&nbsp;schedule for&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoops program.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;is considered the premiere&nbsp;player development basketball program in Central Jersey and is led by&nbsp;former PDS Girl's coach and Philadelphia 76'er International Camps&nbsp;Clinician, Kamau Bailey. Coach Bailey, a former NYU graduate and player, was&nbsp;a Colorado High School All State and McDonald's All American and is a&nbsp;quality coach and teacher of the game. He is sought after as a speaker and&nbsp;hoop instructor. The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;program will offer parents and players the opportunity&nbsp;for&nbsp;competitive boys travel teams(3rd-10th grade), weekly practices, Shot King Shooting Instruction, player development skill sessions for kindergarten through high school players(boys &amp; girls). The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;programs stress fundamentals and team play with emphasis on ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, speed, agility, movement with and without the ball, one on one moves, defense and various other basketball-related skills.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;Skill Development&nbsp;Sessions for boys and girls are held every Monday and Wednesday&nbsp;and begins Monday, September 17th and Wednesday, September 9th&nbsp;with&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00pm to 7:15pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15pm to 8:30pm thru mid - November. In addition, BBA will offer&nbsp;First Hoops Skill Development Sessions for boys and girls, grades K-2 on Friday evenings between 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Competitive Boys Program&nbsp;for interested&nbsp;players and parents begins practice&nbsp; on&nbsp;Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th for&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00 to 7:15 pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15 to 8:30 pm) thru mid - November.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;teams will play games on weekends in the Multi Sports&nbsp;Kingdom Mid-Jersey Basketball&nbsp;League.&nbsp;
 All&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoop activities will be held at the Princeton Middle School, 217 Walnut Lane or at the BBA practice court,&nbsp;3752 Highway #27. Harvest of Hope is NAMI Mercer's annual conference offered at no charge as a gift of wellness to the community. Launched in 2009, Harvest of Hope traditionally brings more than 200 people together to learn strategies and resources that promote mental health and wellbeing while also deepening understanding of mental illness. 
This year our plenary session special guest is Landon Donovan, American Soccer star and mental health advocate. He will be live-streamed for a fireside chat led by talented, local playwright, David Lee White, who will be in-person. Donovan will address his serious battles with depression and how he found peace on and off the pitch. His recently released memoir is noted as "a powerful testament to resilience, identity, and the pursuit of self-acceptance." Conference goers will have the opportunity to engage in a live Q &amp; A with Donovan following the interview. 
The day also includes practical, interactive workshops, thoughtful conversations rooted in personal experience, a collaborative art project, an uplifting concluding activity, and plenty of opportunities for community-building. We consistently hear this day described as one that is uplifting, inspiring, and filled with hope.
