WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The westbound right lane of Alexander Road will be closed immediately from Vaughn Drive for 150 feet for an unknown period of time, West Windsor police announced Monday afternoon.

The township is working to fix what police described as a "failure in the road condition." The hazard is related to a sewer line, and the road is not safe to drive on. A contractor has been notified, and is coming out to fix it, police said.

Drivers should use caution in the area, especially during rush hour as there will be an increase in traffic. Drivers should use an alternate route if possible.
