Vote "YES" on the West Windsor Public Question for Partisan Elections

An initiative to change West Windsor Township's local elections from nonpartisan to partisan has been successfully introduced for the general election TODAY, November 5, 2024. The Public Question is on the "back" of the ballot.

The Need for Electoral Transparency

By allowing party affiliations to appear on the ballot again, for the first time in decades, voters will have clearer information to make informed decisions when selecting candidates for Township Mayor and Council, fostering greater confidence and civic engagement in our electoral process. Adopting this measure will address the limitations of the current system, promote inclusivity, and strengthen the alignment of municipal policies with residents' values and priorities. This change seeks to better represent the diverse and growing population of West Windsor, ensuring that our governing body closely reflects our community's political makeup.

We urge you to vote YES in support of the Public Question, which is a step towards greater transparency and a more effective local government.
