Attempted Child Abduction At NJ Wawa Store Update: Suspect Sketch Released
The suspect reportedly came up to the 7-year-old boy in the bathroom Sunday afternoon, bribed him with candy, and then grabbed him.

NEW JERSEY — Officials are still searching for a man accused of luring a boy to come with him from a convenience store bathroom in South Jersey, and then trying to abduct him Sunday afternoon. State police have developed a composite sketch of the suspect, and also shared video of the vehicle they believe he was in.
New Jersey State Police said the attempted abduction happened on May 28, at a Wawa on State Highway 47 in Maurice River (Cumberland County). On Thursday, police released a composite sketch of the man, who reportedly approached the 7-year-old boy after entering the bathroom and tried to take him.
The man then offered the boy candy to leave the store with him, police said. The child reportedly refused, and the man grabbed him by the arm and attempted to take him from the store according to authorities. Original article — Attempted Child Abduction At NJ Wawa Store, Suspect At-Large: NJSP
