Date, Time Set for South Jersey Group II Football Final

The date, time and location have been set for the NJSIAA South Jersey Group II championship game between the West Deptford and Cedar Creek high school football teams.

Top-seeded West Deptford will face No. 3 Cedar Creek on Sunday, Dec. 6, 11 a.m., at Rowan University, the NJSIAA announced Monday morning.

Tickets are $5.50 for adults and $2 for students and seniors.

West Deptford is in the final following a 21-10 win over No. 4 Buena on Friday. West Deptford opened the playoffs with a 33-25 win over No. 8 Overbrook in the quarterfinals.

Cedar Creek advanced to the final with a 14-9 win over No. 2 Haddonfield on Friday.

The Pirates opened the playoffs by rallying to defeat No. 6 Collingswood, 21-20, in the quarterfinals.

Before the championship game, each team has a Thanksgiving Day rival to deal with.

Cedar Creek visits St. Augustine Prep on Thursday morning, 10 a.m.

West Deptford visits Paulsboro on Saturday, Nov. 28, 11 a.m.
