NJ School Librarian Reportedly Called Student 'Hot Boyfriend'
Text messages were revealed as a New Jersey school librarian has been charged with having sexual conduct with a student.

NEW JERSEY – Text messages were released this week regarding a New Jersey school librarian who has been charged with having sexual conduct with a student. She reportedly called the 14-year-old her "hot boyfriend," prosecutors revealed.
Kimberly Pinkham, 38, of Mullica Hill, an employee of the Kingsway School District, has been charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office with official misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child, according to a press releasee.
The charges came afrer a three-month long investigation assisted by both the Woolwich Township Police Department and the Kingsway School District. Pinkham, an employee of the Kingsway School District since 2006, was assigned as a library/media specialist in the district, according to the GCPO.

Prosecutors said Monday that the teacher and student were found in the media room together with the lights off, laying on the floor and looking at each other, according to nj.com.
Text messages between the two, meanwhile, showed Pinkham referred to the boy as her “hot boyfriend” and they exchanged “I love you” messages, according to nj.com. She also had pictures of this student on her desk.

Pinkham surrendered to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s office on May 10 and was released pending an appearance in Gloucester County Superior Court.
Pinkham was suspended with pay by the district on Feb. 14.
According to the charges, Pinkham engaged in sexual conduct which "impaired or debauched the morals of a 14-year-old student," according to the GCPO.
Pinkham utilized her position within the school district "to form an inappropriate instructor/student relationship where she engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with the student both during school hours and after," the release said.
