'Mr Wawa,' Well-Loved Victims ID'd In Head-On South Jersey Crash
Two cars crashed head-on in the collision. A well-loved woman and man, known as "Mr. Wawa," were killed in the crash.
One was known as "Mr. Wawa." A gentle giant, he was never pretentious or mean. The other, a woman, would to anybody who wanted to talk. Both were killed in a head-on crash in South Jersey overnight, police said. More details were revealed Tuesday about a horrible accident that left friends and family grief-stricken.
The incident happened at 10:10 p.m. Sunday in Cumberland County, when a Ford driven by 30-year-old Michelle Wolf of Port Norris was traveling eastbound on Route 670, at milepost 17.6. Her car crossed the center lane and collided head-on with a car driven by Thomas Hughes, 34, of Cedarville, police said.
Hughes, aka "Mr. Wawa," and Wolf were pronounced dead at the scene in Maurice River Township, police said. As a result, the roadway was closed to traffic for about four hours.

Wolf's sister, Jessica Wolf, told nj.com that Michelle was outgoing, "funny and the life of the party."
"She was also really energetic. She could talk to anybody. It didn't matter where she was; she could have a conversation with somebody she didn't even know. That was her."

"Aubree loved her mom more than anything in the world. She was a great mom."
A GoFundMe page that was set up for Hughes notes that he worked at Wawa and always managed to make people smile. The page called him "Mr. Wawa Tum Tum."
"As many of you know, we tragically lost Tom in a car accident on 11/26/17. He was always full of life and making people around him smile. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back, last dollar out of his pocket, and would do anything for anyone without the expectation of anything in return.
"His family meant the world to him, with Julian in the center. He loved being a dad and it truly showed. He was planning to marry the love of his life, Tabitha in just a few short months. I am hoping that we can lift some of the burden of the funeral costs for his family. If there is anything extra, it will be given to his family for any medical costs, help with the purchase of a new vehicle and a savings account for Julian. If you cannot donate, please just share!"
