West Deptford High School Football Team Stays Unbeaten With Thanksgiving Rivalry Win Over Paulsboro
West Deptford improved to 11-0 heading into the NJSIAA South Jersey Group II championship game.

The West Deptford High School football team will bring an undefeated record into its NJSIAA South Jersey Group II championship game against Cedar Creek next weekend.
The Eagles defeated Paulsboro, 21-18, to improve to 11-0 on Saturday, according to nj.com.
Nick Diaco was responsible for two West Deptford touchdowns, including a 38-yard pass to Paz Gismiondi and a 4-yard touchdown run of his own.

Elijah Pratt scored on a 6-yard touchdown run for the Eagles.
Paulsboro scored first to take a 6-0 lead, but West Deptford responded with three straight touchdowns to take a commanding lead. Paulsboro rallied, but fell three points short. West Deptford blocked a PAT kick and foiled two attempted two-point conversions by Paulsboro.

West Deptford can now turn its attention to next week’s championship game, where the top-seeded Eagles will face No. 3 Cedar Creek on Sunday, Dec. 6, 11 a.m., at Rowan University.
Tickets are $5.50 for adults and $2 for students and seniors.
West Deptford is in the final following a 21-10 win over No. 4 Buena in the semifinals. West Deptford opened the playoffs with a 33-25 win over No. 8 Overbrook in the quarterfinals.
Cedar Creek advanced to the final with a 14-9 win over No. 2 Haddonfield in the semifinals.
The Pirates opened the playoffs by rallying to defeat No. 6 Collingswood, 21-20, in the quarterfinals.
