4 Charged With Manslaughter In Union Township Woman's Death
Kerline Joseph Charles, 28, was found dead on May 10 in her home in the 300 block of Greenbriar Drive, authorities previously said.

UNION, NJ — Four people have been indicted this week in connection with the May death of a Union Township woman, the Union County Prosector's Office announced Saturday.
Kerline Joseph Charles, 28, was found dead on May 10 in her home in the 300 block of Greenbriar Drive after police responded to the residence for a welfare check. The Union County Medical Examiner determined Charles died from cardiac arrest and compressional asphyxia after she was physically restrained.
Following an investigation, Union County prosecutors charged the following four people with aggravated manslaughter:

- Jeremyh Joseph Charles, 27, of Union
- Marvin Joseph Charles, 38, of Union
- Kern Charles, 65, of Union
- Timothee Joseph Charles, 31, of Tuxedo Park, New York
All four were arrested on Thursday and are currently being held in the Essex County Jail pending a hearing.
