8-Year-Old Boy Hit By Car On Halloween In Crosswalk In Union County

Police are asking the public to share any information or video from that night to help with the investigation.

KENILWORTH, NJ — An 8-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle on Halloween while in a crosswalk in Union County.

On Oct. 31 at 7:10 p.m., the boy was in the crosswalk at S. Michigan and Newark Avenue in Kenilworth when he was hit, said Kenilworth Police Department.

The boy is currently in the hospital being treated for his injuries.

The Traffic Bureau is currently investigating the crash including the examination of video from the scene.
