First Leg of 'One Flag Forward' Honoring Nation's Military Service Members to Conclude in Westfield on Sept. 12 (tapinto.net) — A five-day, 250-mile "One Flag Forward" relay will end its first day at Westfield's 9/11 Memorial on Sept. 12, with runners expected to arrive around 6 p.m. Westfield native and Army veteran Andy Moore will carry the flag into his hometown, honoring fallen service members and marking 25 years since 9/11 and 250 years of U.S. military service.
