Owner Sinead O'Brien aims to create a cozy neighborhood spot for specialty coffee, brunch, lunch, and casual dinners, while also hosting community events, pop-ups with local businesses, and offering catering for offices and family gatherings.
• Local Event: LATIN JAZZ @ GALERIA Concert Series: A Flamenco/Jazz & Pop event with the acclaimed ALBA MUSIK Group (patch.com) — Downtown Westfield will host a Latin Jazz @ Galeria concert on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, featuring vocalist Bárbara Martínez and the ALBA MUSIK group at 111 Quimby Street. Residents can enjoy flamenco-fusion music, refreshments, and art exhibits, with $40 tickets available in advance online or via the Teatro Sí box office to support the nonprofit's programming.
• 13-Year-Old Says Virgin Mary Appeared to Him Before Brain Tumor Dramatically Shrunk (beliefnet.com) — A 13-year-old Holy Trinity School student from Westfield says his brain mass shrank dramatically after a vision of the Virgin Mary, sparing him from surgery. Now an altar server at St. Helen's and a volunteer at inclusive Masses, he's channeling his experience into a deepening call to the priesthood despite ongoing health challenges.
