Armed Barricaded Man Prompts SWAT Standoff In Clark
A 79-year-old man was arrested following a report of shots fired early Wednesday morning.
CLARK, NJ — An armed barricaded man who prompted a SWAT standoff in Clark was arrested on Wednesday morning.
At around 12:30 a.m. on July 3, Clark Police were called to 9 Stanton St. for a report of shots fired.
Police found a barricaded person with a weapon, said Clark Police.

The Union County Special Weapons and Tactics unit came out and a short time later Union County SWAT officers were able to get inside and place the barricaded person in custody without further incident.
Kenneth Kutyla, 79, of Clark, was identified as the barricaded man. He was arrested with pending charges.
