Bah Humbug! Christmas Decorations Stolen, Damaged In Westfield
6 Westfield locals were also arrested for multiple charges including driving while intoxicated, marijuana posssession and warrants: police.

WESTFIELD, NJ — There is a Grinch going through Westfield. Reports of Christmas decorations either stolen or damages were reported last week in town.
On Dec. 11 at 3:37 p.m.: A resident of the 300 block of Cantebury Road reported being the victim of a theft. The victim states that two outside Christmas decorations valued at approximately $60 in total were taken from his front lawn. The two Christmas decorations are described as a Christmas Polar Bear and a Christmas Solider. Items were last seen on Dec. 10 at 12 p.m.
On Dec. 13 at 10:40 p.m.: A resident of the 900 block of Dunham Avenue reported being the victim of criminal mischief. The victim reported someone damaged her Christmas lights by cutting the wires on two light strands.

On Dec. 1 at 3:20 p.m.: An 800 block of Knollwood Terrace reported fraud/bad checks. The victim reported someone was using checks payable to her account.

On Dec. 2 at 1:16 p.m.: Joshua Leesha, 22, of Somerset for Possession of CDS during a motor vehicle investigation on West South Avenue and Palsted Avenue. Leesha was released with a summons.
On Dec. 2 at 8:06 p.m.: Lamont Turner Jr., 35, of Rahway was arrested for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Ripley and Grandview Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released.
On Dec. 2 at 11:21 p.m.: Frank Olaseinde, 69, of Carteret was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Rahway Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.
On Dec. 3 at 3:16 p.m.: Victor Menes-Quintero, 27, of Elizabeth was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Elizabeth Police for $5,000. He was transported to headquarters, processed and turned over to Elizabeth Police.
On Dec. 6 at 3:27 p.m.: Elizabeth Geller, 45, of Westfield was arrested for having two outstanding warrants for her arrest from Westfield Municipal Court for $130. She was processed and released and after posting bail.
On Dec. 6 at 1:21 p.m.: A resident of the 400 block of South Euclid reports being the victim of theft. Someone stole two packages from the resident’s porch area.
On Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.: A resident of the 100 block of North Euclid reports being the victim of theft. Victim states that he left his black and red specialized cross-training bicycle with red stripes and an “S” on it, unsecured on his front porch. The value of the bike is $769.
On Dec. 7 at 8:45 p.m.: A resident of the 100 block of East Broad Street reports being the victim of a theft. The victim reports that someone stole his Schwinn Cross Hybrid bicycle, aqua marine in color worth $150. The bike was left on the sidewalk unsecured.
On Dec. 9 at 9:28 p.m.: Jennifer Colon, 28 ,of Westfield was arrested for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Centre Avenue and Lenox Avenue. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released with a mandatory court date.
On Dec. 10 at 10:38 a.m.: Angela McNeill, 54, of Plainfield was arrested at Westfield Police Headquarters for having an outstanding warrant out of South Plainfield Municipal Court for $758. She was processed and taken into custody by South Plainfield Police.
On Dec. 10 at 2:06 p.m.: Joseph J. Tressit, 28, of Westfield responded to headquarters to satisfy two outstanding warrants out of Westfield Municipal Court for $89 and Weehawkin Municipal Court for $145. He was processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 10 at 2:43 p.m.: Matthew Baldwin, 29, of Chatham, responded to headquarters to satisfy three outstanding traffic warrants out of Westfield Municipal Court for $175. He was processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 10 at 8:41 p.m.: Charon Rountree, 47, of Westfield for Driving While Intoxicated pursuant to a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 600 Central Avenue. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.
On Dec. 11 at 4:07 a.m.: David J. Raczkowski, 27, of Brigantine was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 200 Gallows Hill Road. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.
On Dec. 11 at 12:15 p.m.: Suzanne M. Rosa, 31, of Elizabeth responded to headquarters to satisfy an active traffic warrant out of Westfield Municipal Court for $500. She was processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 11 at 9:44 p.m.: Anthony Simmons, 22, of Plainfield was arrested at Plainfield Police Headquarters on an outstanding warrant out of Westfield Municipal Court for $1,083. He was transported to headquarters, processed and could not post bail so he was placed in a cell to await transport to county jail.
On Dec. 12 at 8:16 p.m.: Stephen Rizzo, 36, of Westfield responded to headquarters to satisfy an active Westfield traffic warrant for $81. He was processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 12 at 1:11 p.m.: Gerald E. Schuman, 25, of Westfield responded to headquarters to satisfy an outstanding warrant from Greenwich Township for $160. He was processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 13 at 2:35 a.m.: Mohammad N. Rahami, 20, of Elizabeth was arrested at Roselle Park Police Department for having an outstanding warrant out of Westfield Municipal Court for $363. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 13 at 2:36 p.m.: John J. Polo, 47 of Cranford was arrested in the 200 block of Gallow Hills Road on an outstanding traffic warrant from Union Township Municipal Court for $1,000. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 13 at 2:33 p.m.: Devon L. Briggs, 22, of Newark was arrested at Bergen County Jail for having an outstanding criminal warrant out of Westfield Municipal Court for Forgery. He also had an outstanding warrant out of Newark Municipal Court for $2,750 and East Orange Court for $250. He was transported to headquarters, processed and committed to Union County Jail.
On Dec. 14 at 12:22 a.m.: Michelle D. Rosado, 23, of Plainfield was arrested at Westfield Police Department on an outstanding warrant out of Westfield Municipal Court for $701. She was processed and placed in a cell due to default of bail.
On Dec. 13 at 7:58 p.m.: A resident of the 100 block of North Scotch Plains Avenue reported being the victim of burglary. The victim stated that on Dec. 13 between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. someone entered her home and stole approximately $600 worth of jewelry.
On Dec. 14 at 8:05 a.m.: Tiffany A. Thompson, 32, of Plainfield was arrested following a traffic stop in the area of East South Avenue on an outstanding warrant issued by Plainfield Municipal Court for $347 and two warrants out of South Plainfield Municipal Court for $435. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
On Dec. 14 at 9:45 a.m.: A resident in the 500 block of Shackamaxon Drive reported an incident of criminal mischief to their sign hanging on their fence causing $2,500 worth of damage between Dec. 12 and Dec. 13.
On Dec. 14 at 2:07 p.m.: A business owner in the 200 block of Lenox Avenue reported a theft of a wallet and $200 cash between 9 a.m. and 9:04 a.m. on Dec. 13.
On Dec. 15 at 1:05 a.m.: Gerenz Senesca, 26, of Roselle was arrested at the Roselle Police Department on the strength of multiple warrants including Westfield Municipal Court for $2,113, Kenliworth Municipal Court for $500, Newark Municipal Court $300. The subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released on bail.
