BREAKING: Trader Joe's To Be Demolished Friday Morning
A portion of Elm Street will be closed to traffic as Trader Joe's is torn down
Westfield, NJ -- Trader Joe’s in Westfield will be demolished starting around 8 a.m. on Friday.
The building had been shut down after its roof collapsed from the excessive snow brought on by Blizzard Jonas.
The roof collapsed in the middle, causing three exterior walls to buckle into the middle of the building on Jan. 23. No one was injured.

A portion of the 100 block of Elm Street will be closed to vehicular traffic as the Trader Joe’s building is torn down, Westfield Police Chief David C. Wayman announced.
Motorists should expect traffic delays in the downtown area and should plan an alternate route.
