Burglars Forcefully Pry Open Window Of Westfield Home, Steal 2 Cars: Police
Additionally, two other people were arrested on charges including driving while intoxicated in Westfield.
WESTFIELD, NJ —Burglars broke into a Westfield home to get car keys and steal two cars were reported in Westfield last week, according to the police blotter.
On Sept. 30 at 2:43 a.m., a resident of the 300 block of East Dudley Avenue reported a burglary to their home, along with theft of two motor vehicles from the home’s driveway.
Three actors forcefully pryied open a window to get inside the home, said the resident.

The actors then found and removed keys belonging to the vehicles before leaving the home and stealing the motor vehicles from the driveway, said the resident.
The stolen vehicles' approximate value is $180,000.

On Sept. 29 at 12:33 a.m.: Sean Hernandez, 21, of Old Bridge, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of Central Avenue. He was processed and released with a future mandatory Westfield Municipal Court date.
On Sept. 29 at 10:53 p.m.: Jetur Taylor, 48, of Wallington, was arrested after a motor vehicle stop in the area of West North Avenue and East Broad Street. The warrant was for $500 from Sayreville Municipal Court. Taylor was released at the scene on his own recognizance with a future court date.
On Sept. 30 at 2:34 a.m.: An unknown suspect entered a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 300 block of Orenda Circle. Suspects were observed on camera entering and exiting the vehicle. No items were taken.
On Sept. 30 at 8:01 p.m.: Christoph Gordon, 48, of Union Township, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of Central Avenue. He was processed and released with a future mandatory Westfield Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m.: A resident in the 200 block of N. Chestnut Street reports that someone deceived the victim into accessing funds with a financial institution. Said actor(s) deceived the victim into allowing funds to be transferred from the resident's account into another account controlled by the actor(s). These fraudulently transferred funds were removed from the account they were transferred into. Currently, the victim has suffered a monetary loss of $9,734.50.
On Oct. 4 at 9:42 a.m.: After a motor vehicle stop, Jonathan Longkouyo, 25, of Newark, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. Longkouyo was released on scene on their own recognizance. Longkouyo was given a future court date to address the matter.
On Oct. 4 at 3:41 p.m.: A resident on the 400 block of Elm Street reported that he saw on his video doorbell security camera, that a recently delivered Amazon package was taken off of his front porch by an unknown suspect. The total value was estimated to be $20.
On Oct. 5 at 12 p.m.: A property owner from the 800 block of Forest Avenue reported that an unknown person advertised several apartments for rent in the area. The suspect then collected application fees of $100 and scheduled viewings for occupied apartments which were not available for rental.
