American Red Cross Lifeguard Training at the Westfield Area YMCA

This 4-day blended course teaches entry-level participants how to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.

Physical Pre-Test (required)

Participant must pass a prerequisite skills test at least 1 week prior to lifeguard training dates. Contact Mackenzie Banta to schedule a pre-test prior to registration.
