Summit Old Guard Speaker Program - Insights into Vietnam and Other Southeast Asian Countries

William Rapp, a retired infantry lieutenant colonel, U.S. Army and member of the Special Forces (Green Berets) who served two tours in Vietnam will be our speaker. Several years ago, Bill gave a presentation to the Summit Old Guard about his experiences during the war. In this presentation, he will talk about impressions gained from his recent trip to Vietnam and other countries in Southeast Asia.Bill is also a former commander of the Summit American Legion Post.

The Summit Area Old Guard is a social, educational, and recreational organization that serves men of retirement age. We meet Tuesdays, 9:30am, at the New Providence Presbyterian Church located at 1307 Springfield Ave – we encourage visitation, and all are welcome. Our motto is “Come for the Programs.
