Event Details

Westfield Memorial Library, 550 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ, 07090

The Divorce Support Group will be held in the Local History Room on the second floor. Going through a divorce is one of the most challenging transitions in life, but no one has to face it alone. In this monthly Divorce Support Group, participants will find understanding, compassion, and guidance from others who truly understand what they’re experiencing.

The group is facilitated by Melissa Schwartzman, LCSW, who said, “Whether you're looking for emotional support, practical advice, or simply a safe space to share your experiences, this group is here to help you move forward with confidence. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and a brighter future. The meetings are confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive. You are not alone on this journey.”

Ms. Schwartzman is a licensed clinical social worker who has practiced for over 20 years in the states of New York and New Jersey. She holds a Masters in Social Work from New York University and Masters in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. In addition, Ms. Schwartzman has received training in Couples Therapy from the Ackerman Institute for the Family as well as training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Training Institute for Mental Health.
