Car Crashes Into Union County Home

RAHWAY, NJ — A car drove up the front steps of a Rahway home and crashed on Monday afternoon.

On Aug. 28 at 4:29 p.m., Rahway Police Officers were called to the 500 block of West Scott Avenue on a vehicle crash involving a 2002 Toyota Camry into a home, said Rahway Police Detective Sgt. Douglas Botti.

The Camry crashed into the front porch of 528 West Scott Ave. The structure was cleared, inspected, and deemed safe for residents, said Botti.

No injuries were reported resulting from the crash.
