"Caregiver's Guide to Elder Care" Forum at the Westfield Area YMCA

The Westfield Area YMCA will host a seminar about navigating the healthcare system for elderly loved ones on Wednesday, May 8 from 6:00-7:00pm at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.

Free and open to the community, the event will include a panel of speakers with expertise in the senior healthcare system, including ones from Arbor Terrace Mountainside, a home healthcare agency, Unicity Senior Advisors and a local eldercare attorney.

Discussion topics will include:

• Differences in senior living communities and levels of care
• Safety and home healthcare
• Services offered by Geriatric Care Managers
• The legal documents that are necessary for proper estate planning

The discussion will be followed by a question and answer session. Refreshments will be provided by Arbor Terrace Mountainside.
