Donations Needed for Backpack Program

Westfield, NJ -- The Rotary Club of Westfield is looking for donation for their backpack program.

Non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food stuff will be collected at Tuesday’s meeting on April 5 at 12:15 p.m. at the Westfield Area Y at 422 E Broad Street.

Donation will be sorted and placed in backpacks for 24 “backpack families” to assist them during spring break.

The Presbyterian Church in Westfield collected food for this project during the Lenten season to be supplemented for the backpacks with your food donations.
