On July 15th the ElemMates, atom-sized element beings, will appear at Savory Spice Shop to give the first of several tours of their thriving Periodic Table metropolis, AtomCity. Evie from Marblehead MA will be down to tell her story and help guide them. They'll show us the city and talk about life there.
Actually it's a hook to get kids 8+ interested in the real chemical elements, chemistry, the Periodic Table, atomic behavior and the real materials made from them.
This Event, Salt Fest, is all about Sodium and Chlorine: Their properties, how they connect, how and where it's made, it uses.
We'll hear about all the different kinds of salt at Savory Spice Shop. Then to action: We'll get to do a tasting on fresh popped popcorn.
