Explore the World of Performing Arts With On Stage Theater Camp
Mike Altmann, teacher at Edison Intermediate School, is On Stage Theater Camp's owner and senior show director.

Preparing to embark on it's 6th season, On Stage Theater Camp (formerly known as The Theater Camp of New Jersey) offers opportunities for campers, ranging in ages 5-17, to receive a complete education in the field of performing arts, while preparing for a professional stage production at the end of the four week session.
With workshops exercising skills in all aspects of theater, On Stage fosters an environment that inspires creativity, as well as nurtures individual talents and artistic strengths.
Whether it's acting, dancing, singing or set design and construction, each camper is promised an experience that will only enhance their love and passion for the performing arts.

"My staff is what sets On Stage apart from other camps," says On Stage Theater Camp owner and senior show director Mike Altmann. "The camp is led by a talented group of educators - experienced teachers in subjects including fine arts, language arts, and social studies. As a teacher myself for 15 years, I'm extremely proud to have built a team that takes the fundamentals of education from the classroom to a fun and creative camp environment," says Altmann, "and I'm thrilled to announce the return of Mr. Marc Lazarow and Mrs. Kim Acosta from Edison Intermediate in Westfield, who will be directing the 9 - 13 age group performance of Beauty and the Beast."
