Union Co. Store Accused Of Selling Illegal Vape Products, Un-Taxed Cigarettes: Police

Fanwood Police Department with the New Jersey Department of the Treasury inspected the business and confiscated multiple items.

FANWOOD, NJ — Authorities investigated a Fanwood store accused of selling illegal vape products, as well as un-taxed cigarettes recently.

On Aug. 30, the Fanwood Police Department coordinated with the New Jersey Department of the Treasury to conduct an inspection of the Kwick Mart Food Store located at 190 South Ave., Fanwood.

New Jersey Treasury Special Agents alleged that the store was selling illegal vape products, as well as un-taxed cigarettes. Multiple items were confiscated and seized as evidence, said Fanwood Police.
