Icecreamology Opens In Union, Serves Up Flavors Inspired By The Greek Islands

The artisinal ice cream shop recently held a grand opening in Union Township.

UNION, NJ — A new ice cream shop serving up flavors inspired by the Greek islands has opened in Union County.

Icecreamology, owned by Marino and Demetra Stratigakis, held a grand opening of their store at 2709 Morris Ave. in Union Township last week.

The artisanal ice cream offers a variety of unique flavors including Baklava, Mastiha, and Mandarini.

Masthia is made with real mastic imported from the Island of Chios. Mandarini is a sorbet made with real fresh mandarin fruit.

"Congratulations on this new endeavor, and be sure to pay them a visit," wrote Township of Union, New Jersey - Government.
