JAKE, A GREAT FAMILY DOG, SEEKS LOVING FAMILY

Jake recently arrived at Brendan’s Meadows Rescue.  A youthful, loving, spirited fellow, Jake was rescued and transported from an overcrowded southern pound, with only days left before facing a cruel and senseless death.

We’re so happy to save dogs, and lucky us, Jake is here!  We must say, we don’t expect to be providing a foster home for him for long as he is one handsome, totally lovable hound!!

Jake is an energetic 1-2 year old, 50+ pound hound mix who truly appreciates being rescued.  Still learning about “civilization”, Jake marvels at his own reflection in glass and mirrors.  He’s a fast learner, housebroken in one week!  He’s also learned to sit, has mastered using the dog door and is learning to walk on a leash. Typical of a young dog, Jake gets a bit distracted but quickly regains focus and is very anxious to learn and please.  Best described as affectionate, Jake is also known here at BMR as “the kissing bandit”, liking to steal one on a whim.  With a little exercise during the day, Jake will hang with couch potatoes for some prime time TV.  He’ll be a loyal, loving, playful member of a very lucky family.  How about yours?
