Man Seriously Injured, Hit-And-Run Driver Wanted In Union County
A Ford pickup truck is wanted for hitting a pedestrian and leaving him in the middle of the street with serious injuries Thursday night: PD.
UNION, NJ — Police are asking the public for help after a pickup truck hit a pedestrian and left them seriously injured in Union Township on Thursday night.
Around 8:43 p.m., officers went to Stuyvesant Avenue and Pleasant Parkway on a report of a pedestrian hit by a car.
Patrol Officers found a man with serious injuries in the middle of the street.

He was crossing the street when he was hit by what appears to be a Ford pickup truck, that fled the scene on Stuyvesant towards Oakland Avenue, said Township of Union NJ Police Department.
Officers tended to the injured man, who was identified as a 34-year-old man from Irvington. The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

"We are looking for what appears to be a Ford F150 extended cab pickup truck, no bed cover, chrome front bumper and 2 New Jersey license plates," said police.
No debris was left at the scene, but the truck would have damage to the front bumper and hood area from the impact, said police.
