Man Wanted In Sex Assault Of Minor At Union County Pool

The juvenile girl said she was approached by a stranger in the pool and assaulted, according to authorities.

RAHWAY, NJ - Authorities are searching for a man wanted for sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 at a Union County Pool in July, according to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.

The sexual assault reportedly happened at the Walter E. Ulrich Memorial Pool, located in Rahway River Park on Saturday, July 22.

The victim, a juvenile girl, reported that, at some point after 3 p.m., she was approached by a stranger in the pool and assaulted, authorities said.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged, bald, white man who is around 5’5” – 5’6” tall and somewhat heavyset, with either blue or green eyes and wearing only swim trunks at the time, said authorities.
