McDonald's To Host Grand Re-Opening Event In Elizabeth

ELIZABETH, NJ — Broad Street McDonald’s in Elizabeth is hosting a grand re-opening event on Saturday following a recent major renovation.

The restaurant, located at 33 Broad St., underwent the renovation to reflect McDonald’s new restaurant experience, including new features like digital self-order kiosks, table service, and mobile ordering all in sleek new modern décor.

The event will feature activities for the whole family, including face painting and a balloon artist as well as raffles. Elizabeth McDonald’s owner/operator Chris Cottrell will be on hand to show guests the new restaurant features.

The renovation is part of a nationwide transformation currently underway at McDonald’s to put more choice and control in the hands of guests by improving how they order, how they pay and how they are served. This new restaurant model has been successfully rolled out in more than 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants nationally.

The re-grand opening event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Senator Joseph Cryan and Assemblyman Jamel Holley will also be attending.
