New Fitness Training Facility To Open In Kenilworth Saturday

GHOS (Go Hard or Starve) will open in Kenilworth on Saturday by two personal trainers.

KENILWORTH, NJ — Two personal trainers who have developed a cult following are opening their first training facility, GHOS (Go Hard or Starve) located at 753 Kenilworth Boulevard in Kenilworth on Saturday.

Nasir Pharaoh Guest of Rahway and Anthony Hyman of Georgetown, Guyana worked privately with clients for many years at various fitness centers throughout the state where they grew a following. This demand enabled them to open GHOS.

“Our mission is to bring the balance of good nutrition and fitness to the community by effectively educating and challenging each individual while providing a fun, safe and supportive environment,” says Guest, one of the head trainers and founders.

What has propelled the success of GHOS is the personalized approach to each of their client’s needs and goals.

The key to reaching these goals is working with their team of top trainers to push their clients to work their
bodies and minds as hard as they can during the average 60 minute sessions. Offerings include one-on-one personal training, HIIT and more as well as 30-day boot camps, that target specific areas of the body, customized meal programs as well as classes for kids.

The idea is that every fitness level and every age will gain something from this experience. They also sell Hooghos, their line of organic cold-pressed juices.

“I love the classes because they are designed to build the beginner and at the same time push the athlete to
higher levels," says Anthony Hyman another lead trainer and co-founder.

Outside of the training facility GHOS gives back to the surrounding community through various school supply, clothing and food drives, fundraising events for those in need, training and nutrition seminars at local schools as well as promoting other local business and entrepreneurs.

In addition, they host a free training session on Sundays at 9 a.m. in Rahway Park for those who want to experience GHOS for themselves without a financial commitment. A second GHOS location is set to open in Raritan Valley before the close of the year.

Grand opening schedule of events:

  • Noon to 1 p.m.: Meet the trainers
  • 1 to 3 p.m.: Multiple Instructor Classes (30 mins each)
  • 3 to 3:30 p.m.: Refuel
  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Nutrition Workshop

Guests can stop in at anytime to learn more about GHOS.
