One Car, Two Bikes Reported Stolen In Westfield Saturday: Police
The keys were left in the BMW in a Westfield driveway, police said. It was valued at $65,000.
WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield police reported the following thefts of vehicles Saturday:
- A 2017 BMW X5 was reported stolen from a residential driveway on Cherokee Court Saturday at 10:47 a.m., police said. The owner said it had been stolen overnight, and had been unlocked with the keys inside. The car was valued at $65,000, police said, and had $1,000 in contents in it.
- At 3:05 p.m. Saturday, a resident of Salter Place reported that around 1 p.m., an unknown person entered the detached garage and removed two bicycles. Both were Liv brand, Bliss models, one white, the other green and silver, the person told police. The first was worth $380 and the second, $430.
