Westfield To Hold Annual 9/11 Ceremony At North Avenue Memorial (patch.com) — Westfield residents are invited to gather at the town's 9/11 Memorial on North Avenue and East Broad Street for a remembrance ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the attacks. The event will honor community members lost on Sept. 11, 2001, as Mayor Jeremy Berman emphasizes the day's special significance for Westfield.

Man Tampers With Flock Camera, Charged In Westfield: Blotter (patch.com) — Westfield residents get a detailed look at recent police activity, including the arrest of a Cranford man accused of tampering with a Flock license-plate camera on Massachusetts Street. The blotter also outlines local fraud and identity theft cases, shoplifting on East South Avenue, DWI and warrant arrests, and several significant financial losses reported by Westfield victims.

Driver Runs Red Light, Injures Pedestrian In Westfield, Police Say (patch.com) — Westfield police say a driver heading south on Central Avenue ran a red light at North Avenue and struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk Saturday afternoon. The pedestrian suffered minor hand injuries and was taken to Overlook Hospital, while the driver received two summonses for the incident in the busy downtown area.

Second Westfield Street Sign Auction Raises Over $27K for Town Events (tapinto.net) — Westfield has raised more than $114,000 by auctioning off its retired street signs, with the second and final online sale this month bringing in over $27,000 for future town events. The earlier 2025 auction funded public arts, and together the two sales moved more than 1,500 signs, some drawing dozens of bids from eager residents.

Westfield Fire Department Honors Artist Who Created 150th Anniversary Painting (tapinto.net) — Westfield's Fire Department is celebrating the artist behind its 150th anniversary painting, a project rooted in longtime local ties and first responder service. At a gathering on South Avenue, firefighters and arts leaders highlighted how the painting, past exhibits, and the future Rialto Center displays are helping connect Westfield residents and honor first responders' sacrifices.
